ROY FOKKER
An Internationalist, Roy Fokker fought in the Global Civil War as a fighter pilot before the SDF-1 would crash-land on Macross Island. He test-piloted the Veritech fighter in addition to taking decisive action against domestic threats that emerged in the wake of the SDF-1’s arrival. An ace among aces in the Robotech Defense Force, Lieutenant Commander Roy Fokker led the elite Skull Squadron until his untimely death.
In the beginning, Roy Fokker tries to be the irresistible force to Claudia Grant's immovable object while they are based in Wyoming during the Global Civil War, 1998.

Roy Fokker of the Robotech Defense Force dealt with anti-Robotech groups such as the Faithful on Macross Island, 2005.
Roy, 2005. Nina Lang, sister of Dr. Emil Lang, was kidnapped by a mysterious anti-Robotech faction for the purpose of forcing Emil into destroying the SDF-1 on Macross Island, but Roy rescued her. Claims have surfaced over the years that Anatole Leonard was behind the kidnapping, but they remain unsubstantiated.
